1. The structures of roll forming machines

The operating mechanism of the rolling machine adopts a jaw clutch to roll threaded pipes of different pipe diameters. It can be stopped at any time during the rolling process, which is convenient for measurement, which is conducive to saving materials and reducing costs, which is not available in other methods. The three rollers of the rolling machine are equipped with a pair of tapered roller bearings in the radial direction, which can bear radial force and axial force at the same time. This makes the rolling process light and smooth, avoids the traditional method of using cylindrical roller bearings to only bear radial force, and makes the rollers rotate in the original position of the tube. During the rolling process, it stops at all times, causing irregular thread lead.

2. Design features of the rolling heads of roll forming machines

The rolling head of the rolling machine has novel design, reasonable and compact structure, good system rigidity, strong carrying capacity, stable transmission, no noise, and easy adjustment. A rolling guide rail is used between the tailstock carriage and the bed, which makes longitudinal movement light and flexible. Its frictional resistance is small, which greatly reduces the power loss, and only 5.5kW can meet the needs.

There will be a stroke switch on the side of the bed of the rolling machine, which is convenient to adjust the stroke size during the working process. When operating, it is necessary to ensure that the length of the threaded pipe meets the requirements of the drawing and plays a safety role.

3. The roll forming machines are used widely

The rolling machine can roll threaded pipes with diameters of 38-76, with a large lead range (20-240mm), which realizes the requirements of rolling with different diameters and arbitrary pitches on one machine, and it can be used for both left and right spirals. If the rolling head with three rolling wheels is used, the multi-threaded pipe with large lead can also be rolled. One of the major features of the rolling machine is that the rolling head and the three-jaw can be replaced. When the rolling head rotates but the workpiece does not rotate, the length of the threaded tube that can be processed is not limited, which is unmatched by other processing methods. And with the development of technologies, there are more and more emerging roll forming machines for sale on the market.

4. The bearing capacities of roll forming machines are strong

Rolling machine rolling thread is a cold working method, through the plastic deformation of metal to form threads, the thread surface roughness is fine; (Ra value is 0.32-0.08um); the strength and surface hardness of the threaded pipe are improved; The fiber structure has not been cut, so the wear resistance of the rolled thread is greatly improved; the fatigue strength of the threaded pipe is increased by 20-40%; the tensile strength is increased by 20-30%; the shear strength is increased by 5%; the use of a lathe is avoided Strains, scratches, random buckles, irregular thread pitch, unstable forming quality and other phenomena during processing; the processing speed has been doubled; by using a rolling machine, it is not necessary to occupy the lathe, which allows it to function more fully as a machine tool.
